These bright, playful graphic pieces are made by painting layers of acrylic paint onto archival museum board that is sanded, painted and sanded again. I make the graphic images by cutting intricate stencils that are also layered and sanded. Many pieces are accompanied by words or images stamped handmade original rubber stamps, then sealed with a kiss of encaustic medium, (a mixture of resin and beeswax). The graphic panels are then mounted on painted ¼” board in sets of two, three and four. Each piece is ready to hang.
